Publisher’s Summary

The Arizona Vengeance are developing a reputation on the ice as one of hockey’s top teams. But one player’s reputation off the ice might just keep him from scoring….

I’m having the time of my life with my new brothers on the Arizona Vengeance. We may be an expansion team, but after notching some big wins, the entire league knows to watch out for Erik Dahlbeck. That’s me.

The only person who doesn’t seem to think I’m so great? Blue Gardner, the hot-as-f–k flight attendant on our team plane. I sure wouldn’t mind joining the mile-high club with her, but besides bringing me lukewarm coffee, she won’t give me the time of day. Whatever I did to rub Blue the wrong way my teammates think is hilarious. After all, we’re used to women flocking to us. #puckbunnies.

When I run into Blue back on land, I’m shocked to learn how she spends her time off: taking care of her handicapped brother. There are layers to this girl I never imagined, layers I can’t wait to peel away. And that’s a new feeling for me.

But first, I’ve got to find a way to melt that ice-cold stare. Because as much as I try to pretend I don’t care what Blue thinks of me, how can you not care when you’re falling for someone?

ok, so I haven't read or listen to Bishop yet, which is on my que. I seriously can't wait to go back and read the first book. Even though these are standalones, I teeny tiny wished I had read Bishop first! So go in order because everyone's story starts to flesh out. My heart feels for Tacker even though I got a glimpse of his story. Its going to be a tear jerker for sure.

Jason and Ava were perfect for these roles.

I received this book at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Phenomenal performance of a spectacular book!!!

Ladies, I just received a HUGE reminder why I loved this book. You see, I read the Kindle version last October, and just received to chance to listen to the raksBooks version. OMG!!! Listening to Jason Clarke, Ava Erickson tell the story, I fell in love with this book ALL! OVER!! AGAIN!!! The performance of this book was just phenomenal. When I closed my eyes, I could actually see the book in my mind as they were performing it. Phenomenal job Sawyer Bennett on picking these two to tell this wonderful story!!! Kudos one and all!!
Ladies, yes you, this book is phenomenal. I LOVE when a bad boy gets his head out of his rear posterior and learns to fly straight!!! Blue and Erik, phenomenal couple, they are definitely made for each other. Well at least after Blue realizes that Erik is not the as… donkey he used to be. Sorry, have to keep this PG. I love this story. I really enjoyed watching Erik have to work to win Blue back. You see, he does not remember meeting Blue before… at least not the first time, or even the third time he sees her on the Vengeance plane where Blue is one of the flight attendants. He can’t figure it out why Blue is always giving him the cold shoulder. So when Blue tells him before she would even think about dating him she tells him has to get his…. Sorry ladies, not spoilers. I will say this…. It was VERY painful, and he took a lot of flack from his team mates.
I think one of my favorite parts in the book does not have anything to do with Blue and Erik. It pertains to Legend another player on the Vengeance team. If you are a love hockey and are a fan of the Penguins and/or Golden Knights, you will know what I am talking about when you read this book. Again, sorry ladies, I am giving nothing away. If you want to know, you will have to read this spectacular book.
OK, now I am conflicted. I have been a fan of Ms. Sawyer’s Cold Fury series from the beginning, OMG this series is just as great, if not… no, I can’t quite say better…..yet!!!
If you like a great hockey romance, then this book is definitely for you. YOU! WILL!! LOVE!! THIS!! BOOK!!
Thank you for reading my review.
