Publisher’s Summary

Sometimes angels fall.

Maddie doesn’t really owe drug lord Carlos Castillo money. So she hadn’t taken his threats seriously. Until now. He wants it, whether she owes it or not. And if she doesn’t have it in six weeks, he’s gonna take her as payment instead.

Tyler would save the world if he could. That’s a fight that lasts forever. And if there’s one thing he’s good at, it’s fighting. So if Maddie thinks she’s gonna deal with an insane drug lord on her own, she’s crazier than he is.

She’s got a debt she can’t pay. He’s got more money than he needs.

She’s not gonna fall for his charm. He’s gonna make sure that happens.

They’re destined to be together. Even if Maddie doesn’t know it yet.

Sometimes your soul mate isn’t who you’d choose – it’s who you need.

Good thing you don’t get to choose.

Why y’all gotta do me like this?

The last book and this one leaves you in a state of panic to start the next one to see what happens!! I’m happy, I’m heart broken, I’m ecstatic and miserable for these characters! Such a good book

loved it.

Tyler is a person I wish I knew in real life. That character is very likable.

Peak performance

I found myself screaming in my head at some of the decisions the characters made and then empathizing later and understanding why they did or said what they said. This story was so well written and acted in eager for the next book.

Thanks for the uncomfortable laughter

This book had me laughing so hard my ribs hurt. It was not only hilarious but incredibly sexy and tragic all wrapped up in one Very well done book. I can't wait for the next one. Narration was excellent as well. On a personal note: I don't even remember the last time I laughed before this book series . So much so the sound seemed so foreign to me when it kept coming out. I stayed up all night listening to the first two books if this series and plain to finish up the day listening to the rest. No regrets

Everyone says so…

Tyler’s internal monologues and random thoughts throughout some intense moments keep you coming back for more.
