   I had a hard time sticking with this listen. In fact, I had to put it on pause for a couple weeks before I could finish it. I’m happy I picked it back up though because we eventually got a bit of plot to go with the sex.

   In a way this was the mildest RH book that I’ve ever read. Even though the majority of the “story” was sex scenes they were typical one on one couplings. That’s not something that I’ve come across before in a RH. Usually there’s at least one scene with three or more people. Instead of the extra spice the author opted to give us sex scene after sex scene.

   I have mixed feelings about Aletha George’s narration and don’t really know how to rate her performance. First of all with a story like this the narrator needs to have numerous voices in their repertoire to do the story justice. And while yes, George used different accents to differentiate some of the male characters nothing was really done with the small female parts. That bugged me. On the other hand I enjoyed her flow. It was easy for me to get into the story as I listened to her.

   Surprisingly Entertaining

   Im not usually drawn to harems but this was surprisingly entertaining to listen to. Enjoyed the spicy bits 🌶

   AMAZING

   I don't know why there would be negative reviews on this book I find this book fantastic and how it's written in another point of view I mean it's a writer writing about stories that are fantasy but happen in reality I mean it's wild when you think about it

   Great Book

   There are a lot of negative reviews, but I would like to give a positive one. There is A LOT of sexy time and it is fantastic! You have a women that was scorned and didn’t know her place in the world except in fantasies aka her books. She has a snarky wit about her and a determination that is hard to find at times. This was actually a great book and a wonderful story of a strong woman. FYI the narrator did a fabulous job as well. You knew who was speaking at all times.

   I enjoyed Book 1 of Emma Dawn’s RH series

   It has been awhile since I read this book but Aletha George did a good job making the characters come to life and got me into the story right away . I think Ally was great (loved her author brain haha) and most of her guys were fantastic and would love them on my book BF list. I think we didnt get to see a lot of action scenes and it would have been awesome to get more time with Ally and her guys at the end. I know these standalone books in the series connect, I just wanted to get more time with the guys with her, since they only got 1 time with her and sometimes it felt rushed. Thats really why I couldn’t give the story 5 stars. I think the story was good but had a lot of potential to be amazing.

   For the narration, I think Aletha also did a good job. I loved how quirky she made Ally and her depiction of her was spot on how she was in my head. The only reason I couldn’t give her 5 stars is because she changed some of the guys accents like 60% of the way through. Wick had a different voice, some of the others randomly had the Irish accent when they shouldn’t have. Besides that, she did a great job with emanating the essence of the story and with each of the guys personalities.

   Overall 4 stars, good job! Already listening to book 2 on raksBooks escape ❤️

   Excellent book!

   This was an excellent romance mmmmmf book, reverse harem story. There are Werewolves and Vampires, magic and evil villains. The story was very well written with great narration.
