   fast paced

   I'm enjoying this series. there's a good amount of world building and lots of different mythical creatures and monsters. this one was very fast paced though it was hard to pay attention to and keep track of all the characters that were introduced about halfway through. I even went back and started over and that didn't seem to help

   Wonderful narrator! Unique interesting story!

   I am completely in love with both the narrator and the story. This is the second book in the series, so worth the credits! Enjoy a journey in the realms of believable fantasy!!

   fun series

   although the narrator has some odd inflections once you get used to it the story is pretty good and the series is fun and unique. I enjoyed it very much

   Good potential but lacking

   I liked the characters and concept for this story but found it overall lacking. What little action there is lacks details and seems to be “brushed over” fairly quickly. The story (especially when ending a chapter and starting another) seems a bit choppy. The narrator reads well & has a good accent but doesn’t do male voices that well: all her voices are too similar in tone.

   Good

   I’ll admit I liked the first one better, however, this was still a fun book, this moved away from Washington and new characters introduced including an introduction to some of Kellana’s family. Vacations are so tiresome :). It would have been so much better with Isabel along :)

   Fantastic!

   I love it can't wait to read the third book . Definitely recommend this series for anyone that love supernatural like vimpire, werewolf, elf, witches dragons etc .

   I really enjoy this series

   The characters are interesting and fun. A complete adventure, sometimes it's too short for me, but I really do enjoy the tale.
