Publisher’s Summary
What is America becoming? Or, more importantly, what can she be if we reclaim a vision for the things that made her great in the first place? In America the Beautiful, Dr. Ben Carson helps us learn from our past in order to chart a better course for our future.
From his personal ascent from inner-city poverty to international medical and humanitarian acclaim, Carson shares experiential insights that help us understand what is good about America, where we have gone astray, and which fundamental beliefs have guided America from her founding into preeminence among nations.
Written by a man who has experienced America’s best and worst firsthand, America the Beautiful is at once alarming, convicting, and inspiring. You’ll gain new perspectives on our nation’s origins, our Judeo-Christian heritage, our educational system, capitalism versus socialism, our moral fabric, health care, and much more. An incisive manifesto of the values that shaped America’s past and must shape her future, America the Beautiful calls us all to use our God-given talents to improve our lives, our communities, our nation, and our world.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Dr. Carson is brilliant! Why can't more people read his book and learn from it?
-
America's finest citizen
Would you consider the audio edition of America the Beautiful to be better than the print version?
a wonderful book filled with hope for America!! Just common sense and getting back to what our founding fathers wanted for America! A must read!
-
The narrator makes the story enjoyable
This book is very inspiring for those who are new habitant of USA and those who are citizens but took the wrong way, so this book is giving to all the people from different background to see themselves shaping the United states the way it should be.

America the beautiful A very Hannah find book
I enjoyed this book very much it was presented well with Anna fine thoughts about where America is going I was happy to find that other people think the way I think about America and the things that should go to make this a great country I would give it a five star rating
-
Powerfully uncommon sense!
Dr. Carson writes a book that leads man to a path of peace, enlightenment and fulfillment. He helps reestablish the founding principles of the American revolution. If our nation as a people would be so bold to step into these principles and live them again we would indeed prosper! I really enjoy how Dr. Carson explains tolerance and fairness and equity and how it applies in government.

Every American Should Read This Book!
What made the experience of listening to America the Beautiful the most enjoyable?
Dr. Carson has an amazing penchant for not only clearly stating problems facing the U.S., but also (refreshingly) offers simple and viable solutions to even the most complex.
What was one of the most memorable moments of America the Beautiful?
As an avid student (scholar) of history, Dr. Carson relays events that used to be included in our school books and emulated by those aspiring to greatness. The story of George Washington as relayed by the ancient Indian chief has long been a favorite of mine. It was heartening to 'see' it in a book again.
What does Dion Graham bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Dion Graham does a magnificent job! He brings the story alive through the voice of a great orator who is also a 'regular Joe'. It is as if Dr. Carson is speaking directly to the listener.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
This book made me PROUD once again, to be an American and reminded me that 'we the people' are ONE, and should remember to act accordingly. It puts the party system back into its proper perspective and illuminates key points on how it has become so polarized and what might be considered to help remedy the situation; eloquently done without pointing fingers or assigning blame!
Any additional comments?
I have already recommended this book to people of all political persuasions and social strata, and will continue to do so. It is must read!
